Jimmy Diaz, Head Tester at Neil Pryde Design Center, has left the company as of 15 January 05 to pursue career opportunities elsewhere.
– FROM A NEIL PRYDE PRESS RELEASE…

Jimmy Diaz will be replaced by Pieter Bijl, who has been working for Neil Pryde Design Center as a part time product tester since 2003. Pieter Bijl will work closely together with Product Manger Robert Stroj, and fellow tester Peter Slate, to ensure that Neil Pryde Windsurfing maintains its position as the market leader in the windsurfing business.

Pieter Bijl will also provide an important link for consumers looking for technical information on NP Windsurfing products, by answering questions on the NP Windsurfing Forum, www.neilpryde.com . He will be partnered together with Kevin Ozee in this role, who is well known to most of you as the manager of Neil Pryde Maui.

Pieter Bijl brings a strong background of racing experience to the team at Neil Pryde Design Center. He finished regularly in the top 10 during the 2004 PWA & FW Racing season, most notably in 6th position at the PWA Sylt. Pieter Bijl was an integral part of developing the Neil Pryde RS:X, which late in 2004 was selected as the design to be used for the 2008 Olympics. At just 25 years of age, he also brings a youthful enthusiasm & energy to the team at Neil Pryde Design Center.

We would like to wish Jimmy Diaz all the best for his future career, life & job opportunities. Jimmy Diaz has produced some good work together with Neil Pryde and we would like to thank him for this.

We would also like to welcome Pieter Bijl to the team at Neil Pryde Design Center.
