Webmaster’s Update 08/10/05
Here’s an update from the SFWA Webmaster for you wind-starved sailors:
1. The SFWA Forum was taken offline for security purposes. It has been upgraded and is now working again.
2. The Blogging code was updated to the newest version, also to address security issues.
3. The “Comments” function on the site was removed because they all dealt with either Poker or Viagra, just like my email box. Please continue to use the Forum for comments.
4. The Board of Directors (aka the volunteers who work tirelessly to keep the Club afloat) met tonight @ Scotty’s to discuss the upcoming windy season, the next Swap Meet, Membership issues, and Corporate Sponsorships. We meet every second Tuesday at Scotty’s Landing in Coconut Grove at 7:00PM. Here are the meeting notes:August 10, 2005

Please consider joining our Club — your $25.00 membership fees help pay for our many expenses: Web Hosting, Swap Meets, Event Permits, Races, Insurance, etc. Banner ad advertising is also available.
