Great Swap Meet

Blog post by: admin    Posted on: October 04, 2005    Feedback: Comments (0)

Our Oct. 1st Swap Meet was a great success. Many thanks go out to Board Members Ovidio, Kat, and Bob, as well as Don McDowell and Karen DeLeon for helping make this a really great Swap Meet. There were lots of happy buyers and sellers, great deals to be found, etc. Here are the highlights:

1. The Club signed up 14 members! Thanks go out to our new and renewing members. Your support keeps the Club afloat!

2. The Raffle was a hit. WaterPlay and Adventure Sports came through with 2 really nice prizes: a wetsuit and a Neil Pryde boom. The winners were Lockwood and Sean Biggins of Vero Beach. A Karma lesson to you all: Sean was our first member to signup online! Hopefully the next swap meet will be rain-free — that was pretty funny having the Raffle under the tent. Aren’t you glad everyone uses Dial?
