Fowey Rocks Wind Sensor finally fixed

After being down for months, the Fowey Rocks wind sensor is finally back up and running. Cheryl Firth from NOAA emailed me last month, and told me that the sensor was down and scheduled for maintenance. It is maintained by NOAA’s National Data Buoy Center (NDBC). The sensor is roughly 7 miles SE of Key Biscayne’s southern tip.

I guess we lucked out that it was down during the summer. Now all we need is wind ……
