From iWindsurf.com:
“iWindsurf.com has just completed installing 16 new wind sensors in Southern Florida to be used for hurricane tracking. Our partners who requested that we install this network will be using these weather stations for scientific and public safety reasons. However, another primary use of these stations for the rest of us will certainly be: WINDSURFING!
iWindsurf.com has been installing it’s private network of wind sensors in prime locations at windsurf spots throughout North America since 1986. This new Florida network is LIVE now, and free trial memberships are available for first-time users. Log on to iWindsurf.com.”
Don McDowell sent me this great image of him sailing in Bequia, the second largest island in the Grenadines. Bequia is situated at latitude 13 N and 60.15 West, in the southern part of the Caribbean chain known as the Windward Islands.

It is as unbelievable as it’s dead serious: The state of Hawai’i is currently working on a bill, that in reality will PROHIBIT windsurfing in ALL waters of Hawai’i….
