The South Florida Windsurfing Association (SFWA) is a non-profit organization based in Miami that seeks to promote the sport of windsurfing, preserve public access to our waterways, ensure the cleanliness of our beaches, and organize events and activities for our member's enjoyment.
I know this video is a little long-in-the-tooth, but I still say it is one of the best clips to show our non-sailing friends because the helicopter shots really show the speed and excitement of open ocean sailing.
Hope Kevin is OK. A news cameraman stated that he thought a water spout came through. Lesson to all of us: be safe, know your limitations, respect any gusty storm ……..
